Diane Pratt is a stock photographer who has been photographing landscapes and gardens for 30+ years. She specializes in garden and scenic landscape photography for all types of publication. Diane photographs public and private gardens in and around her home area of Middle Atlantic States and travels to gardens at locations throughout the United States. Her stock photographs includes flowers, vegetables, herbs, insects, gardens, scenic landscapes, beaches, lighthouses, birds, and antique tractors.
Diane has gardened for most of her life. She started with flowers as a child in NY State. After moving to New Jersey in 1978 she studied organic gardening methods and experimented to see how many vegetables could be grown in a 20ft. x 40ft. garden. After feeding her family including parents and sibling’s families and giving away vegetables to neighbors she decided it was time for a smaller vegetable garden. Now she is developing a small shade garden and a butterfly, hummingbird garden with color themes.
Diane’s new work include Landscape photographs from her travels including many Sunset, Sunrise and Lighthouse photographs.
“My love of nature, architecture and gardens is reflected throughout my work. I become inspired by the fleeting moments in the light on my surroundings where ever I am and aspire to show the beauty that I see.”
